Password Change or Reset
Target Audience: Employees with an active network account.
Purpose: Show users how to reset or unlock your password if you can't access your AnglicareSA account because;
- Your password isn't working and you want to reset it, or
- You know your password, but your account is locked and you need to unlock it.
Instructions:
Go to https://office365.com and click on "Sign In" in the top right corner of the screen and the Microsoft sign in page will open.
Enter your business email address and click Next.
In the Enter password screen, select Forgot my password.

In the “Get back into your account" screen, type your email address and prove you aren't a robot by entering the characters you see on the screen, and then select Next. (This process is to prevent automatic scripts from continuously attempting to reset passwords and locking your account)


Select which option applies to you and click Next.
Select one of the methods to verify your identity and change your password and add the requested information. Your mobile number should be already registered with Microsoft as part of Multifactor Authentication.

Enter your number and click Next.
Enter the code sent to your mobile and you will be prompted to set a new password.

Password Rules:
- Passwords need to be changed every 365 days
- Minimum Length - 10 characters
- At least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 number
- You cannot: use your name, a common password, or an existing password
